Leaders grapple with uncertainty on the one hand and accountability on the other. While teams look to leaders for assurance and guidance, leaders feel compelled to cover up their concerns about consistent uncertainty and ambiguity.

The Hero’s journey embraces obstacles and uncertainty, and builds engaged teams on the march toward the Prize. Resilience, courage, discipline, and perspective can be learned, and can be used to produce both powerful and empowering results.

Eric will share with you the four part process to enrich your management and leadership activities by adding to your effectiveness, efficiency, and the desire for others to follow your lead.

The learning objectives of this session:

  • Apply a four step process to managing ambiguity and anxiety.
  • Develop a plan for addressing fear in leadership.
  • Analyze and minimize the barriers to addressing uncertainty in leadership.
