Special HYBRID Format for this Meeting

This is the registration page to attend
VIRTUALLY

This is a special format that is a hybrid of our chapter meeting event, with our presenter ONSITE to our live Learning Event attendees, as well as to a separate virtual audience.

Recently, when the Georgia Dome was being demolished, the Weather Channel set up a live camera to show its audience what promised to be a fantastic implosion.

And this happened:

We're using this video as a metaphor for that big training program that's about to launch.  If we don't take a step back, review the big picture, and then identify all the details that could impact the big picture, we run the risk of something easily predictable disrupting a session.

So this February we're going to look into what goes into a successful training program.  Not necessarily the instructional design or facilitation skills, although those are significant to a program's success, but all the other shifting pieces that contribute to a program's success.

We'll learn from the successes and the escapades of our panelists:

Victoria Torres

From the selection and launch of an LMS to the development of eLearning content, OneOC’s Director of Professional and Organizational Development has led significant changes in how the non-profit organization supports its training and development outreach.

Anthony Harmetz

The force behind ATD-Orange County’s Total Trainer University, Anthony Harmetz has shepherded both the launch of the Total Trainer: Delivering Training program and the revitalization of Total Trainer: Creating Training.  Anthony has established and led the learning function as Bally Total Fitness’ National Training Director, and now independently helps organizations with training strategy, instructional design, training delivery, and coaching.

Karen Merriman

Winner of Brandon Hall Group’s Excellence in Learning Award and LearnX’s Best eLearning Project (Rapid Authoring), Karen Merriman brings experiences and stories of program launches through automotive and manufacturing industries.

...and hopefully find out how to keep busses from driving through our programs.
