Ducere Global Business School is a recognised leader in university – enterprise collaborations, to design and deliver degrees that have real career impact. We partner with major universities across 4 continents, global corporations, government departments and NGOs, as well as being a member of the AACSB, Clinton Foundation, United Nations, and various global chambers, to ensure that our programs are current, relevant and industry connected.
Ducere provides access to career-focused, quality higher education. Ducere instructors/academics, or as we call them, PracaDemics*, run their own businesses, consult to industry and bring as much “real world” knowledge as academic knowledge. Your academics will be from all over the world including the UK, US, Africa, Australia, and Europe. Ducere helps women, minority groups, and first-generation progress in their careers by helping overcome many barriers including cost, and flexible time. Ducere's first chancellor was the first female Prime Minister of Australia, and our patron is one of two women Presidents ever elected on the African continent.
We have a mission of both business and philanthropy. Ducere has funded and supported the activities of the Ducere Foundation across 27 African nations to the tune of millions of dollars.
With offices in the United States, Australia, the UK and Africa, we constantly strive to promote equity and access in education globally.
Ducere Foundation:
The Ducere Foundation partnerships have been established with sovereign states, significant universities, philanthropic leaders and major businesses in the delivery of educational programs to some of the most disadvantaged children in the world. The Ducere Foundation delivers a variety of programs including an Africa-wide Peace Centre Program—a program to improve national testing standards across Math, Science and English as well as the Ducere Publishing House, which captures the rich and culturally relevant oral story-telling tradition across Africa.
*A pracademic (or practitioner-academic or academic-practitioner), is someone who is both an academic and an active practitioner in their subject area.
